PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire vulcanizing and molding mold capable of appropriately adjusting clearances between pieces and preventing early wear and scoring of the pieces, and to provide a method for manufacturing a tire. SOLUTION: A sector 5 is equipped with a plurality of the pieces 6 divided in the peripheral direction of the tire, a back segment 7 for supporting a plurality of the pieces 6, and elastic bodies 8 existing between end faces in the peripheral direction of the tire of the pieces 6. Under the non-heated condition before vulcanization and molding, clearances C1-C3 are provided between the pieces 6 and the back segment 7, and as the pieces 6 can be slid in the peripheral direction of the tire, the clearances between the pieces 6 can be appropriately adjusted to a condition uniform and with no deviation. In addition, as the clearances C1-C3 are decreased by thermal expansion of the pieces 6 and the pieces 6 are fixed to the back segment 7, the pieces 6 do not slide in the peripheral direction of the tire to prevent early wear and scoring of the pieces 6.
