PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve mechanical strength of a multilayer ceramic capacitor element. SOLUTION: A multilayer ceramic capacitor includes a laminate consisting of ceramic layers 8 and internal electrode layers 9 alternately stacked and external electrodes provided at both ends of the laminate and connected with the internal electrode layers 9. The internal electrode layer 9 has pores 12, in which ceramic grain combination 13 with a narrower boundary than that of the ceramic layer 8 is formed.
