PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat CRT television receiver and flat CRT display device capable of restraining reflection of an external light in a simple structure. SOLUTION: The flat CRT display device 1 is made of a glass tube 30 in which the inside is maintained in a highly vacuum state, and has a CRT 3 wherein a tube surface 31 as an image display surface is formed at a flat shape, and a main body case 2 for housing the CRT 3. The tube surface 31 is formed to incline in the direction overhanging an upper end 31a side of the tube surface 31 against a perpendicular axis Y rather than a lower end 31b side of the tube surface 31.
