PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device which can prevent an intrusion of dusts from an insertion port. SOLUTION: The connecting device is provided with a body 100 having an insertion port 131a where two lead terminals 12 can be inserted and removed, two contacts 200 which are housed in the body 100 and can be contacted with each of the lead terminals 12 and two shutters 300 for opening and closing the insertion port 131a of the body 100. The body 100 is provided with a main body portion 110, a housing part 120 which is provided on a horizontal portion of the main body portion 110 and housed two contacts 200 and an operation member 130 mounted movable upward and downward on the housing part 120, and the movement of the operation member 130 makes two of the shutters 300 open and close the insertion port 131a.
