PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display for a vehicular instrument capable of enhancing visibility and designability for a display part, using a simple constitution and with reduced number of part items. SOLUTION: In this display 4 for the vehicular instrument is provided with a display face 5 arranged with scales 51; a pointer 6 formed of a transparent member, moved along the scales on the display face, and for displaying an indication value; and a light source for projecting a light from a base end side toward a tip side in the inside of the pointer, at least a tip side portion 61 of the pointer 6 is formed into a planar shape, in parallel with the display face 5, a side face 62 of the tip side portion is formed of a coarse face; and the light incident into the inside of the pointer is irregularly reflected on the side face 62.
