SINGLE-DOOR REFRIGERATOR AND REFRIGERATION MODULE

The present invention refers to a single-door refrigerator (8) provided with a freezing compartment (9) and a refrigerated compartment (10), the refrigerator being provided with a "no-frost" refrigerator module (1 ). The module comprises, in an integrated manner, an air diffuser (5) in which a fan motor (3) is assembled, a fan (2) associated with the fun motor, an evaporator with defrost heater (4), an accumulator (6) and a drain pot (7). The invention provides a compact "no-frost" refrigeration module (1 ), performing the same functions as a conventional "no-frost" system. Through the use of the "no-frost" refrigeration module in single-door refrigerators, the need of frequent defrosting by the user, as well as the removal of foods from the freezing compartment (9) during the defrosting, as usual in single-door refrigerators using natural convection system for defrosting is eliminated.
