The herein disclosed mechanism is characterised in that it utilizes for one piston 6, two cranks 1,2 (homoaxially and oppositely rotating at same velocity) and two connecting rods 3,4. By this arrangement, each point of the pin 5 of the piston 6 is moving onto a rectilinear section, which rectilinear section is parallel to the symmetry axis of the cylinder 7 without affecting the walls of the piston 6 and those of the cylinder 7. The impacts created by the motion of the mechanism are suppressedby the mechanism itself while the equal speed and the opposite sense rotation of the cranks around the same axis are achieved by engagement of the front or conic gears (15,16,13,14)-(10,11,12). For use in applications demanding fluid compression at the lower part of the piston (e.g. two-stroke internal combustion engines), the herein proposed arrangement forms -in combination to the special piston 6 and the adequately-configurated cylinder 7- variable volume area, namely a compressor. For application of the invented mechanism to other engines, plug is not required and, consequently, neither the use of a slider and rod. The piston 17 is oscillating inside the cylinder 18 and is connected to the rods 3,4 via a common pin 5. |
