The invention relates to a plaster trim for recessed electrical fittings comprising a frame having sidewalls (15-18 figure 3) that insert into a gap provided for location of an electrical fitting within a wall panel 10, and flanges 19 joining the sidewalls (15-18 figure 3) near the top thereof extending outwardly from the frame. The sidewalls (15-18 figure 3) are preferably formed with cut-outs 21 to allow access for cables 13. The sidewalls (15-18 figure 3) define an aperture that may be covered by a cover sheet 24 comprising a removable or sacrificial protective member such as a sheet of foil with lines of weakness about its edges adjacent the frame. The cover member preferably has a tab or detent whereby the cover member may be pulled free. The flanges are preferably ribbed as a key for bonding to plaster. The flanges are preferably joined to the side walls of the frame at a rib 22 which is angled upwardly and inwardly. |
