PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize discharge characteristic, without lowering energy density by improving a metallic collector in an oxy halide-lithium battery. SOLUTION: In an oxy halide-lithium battery, as a metallic collector 5, an austenite-based stainless steel, containing chrome of 15.0 to 21.0wt.% and nickel of 6.0 to 15.0wt.% is employed or ferrite-based stainless steel, containing an element containing chrome of 15.0 to 21.0wt.% and molybdenum of 1.0 to 2.5wt.% and further selected from a group of titanium, tantalum, niobium, and zirconium by 0.1 to 1.0wt.% in sum is employed, thereby the improving corrosion resistance and deformation resistance of the metallic collector 5. |
