A first hinge part for securing to the door cooperates with a link which is connected to a first hinge pin connecting the first hinge part to a second hinge part for securing to the bodywork, the first hinge part also cooperating with this pin. The first hinge part is engaged using a locking member. A positioning part cooperates with the link via a second hinge pin and can also cooperate with a spring, following which the first hinge part is pivoted about the first pin. Depending on how many positioning parts are mounted on the link via the second hinge, a predetermined number of parking positions for the first hinge part are obtained. The first hinge part can be engaged with or disengaged from the second hinge part via the first pin and link, irrespective of the change in angle of the first hinge part, so long as the locking member is disengaged from the first pin. The result is a third hand property obtained by deformation of the first pin and cooperation of the latter with the first hinge part, allowing a vertical adjustment and disassembly of the first hinge part to be carried out. The hinge is of the SHIP (Symmetrical Hinge Integrated Positioning System) type.
