THRUST BEARING PRODUCT METHOD FOR PULVERIZER GEARED REDUCER

A method of manufacturing a thrust bearing for a pulverizer geared reducer is provided to adjust the thickness of a bearing shim or replace only a pivot without replacing the entire bearing in case of wear of a tilting unit. A method of manufacturing a thrust bearing for a pulverizer geared reducer includes the steps of: selecting material of the thrust bearing; performing primary roughing on the material with a detachable pivot; performing heat treatment and hydrogen removal on a main body and the pivot; performing secondary roughing on the main body and the pivot; performing pre-treatment including solvent cleaning, alkaline cleaning, pickling, and fluxing to clean the main body and the pivot; coating tin on babbitting surfaces of the main body and the pivot; coating babbitt metal on the tinned surface of the main body; performing UT(Ultrasonic Testing) after performing semi-finishing of the main body and the pivot; performing PT(Liquid Penetrant Examination) after performing finishing of the main body and the pivot; and performing anti-corrosion treatment after performing a dimension test on the completed thrust bearing.
