A system and a method for providing an RBT copy service are provided to store RBT information of RBT service subscribers in a CRBT server and enable a mobile communication terminal user to listen to and select to copy an RBT of another person by accessing the CRBT IP. A CRBT IP(Color Ring Back Tone Intelligent Peripheral)(30) stores RBTs by each sound source code, provided to a mobile communication terminal(10), in an RBT DB(Database). The CRBT IP transmits various digit information transmitted from the mobile communication terminal through an MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(20) to listen to an RBT of another person or select copy of an RBT, and transmits an RBT corresponding to a received specific sound source code value to the mobile communication terminal. A CRBT server(40) stores sound source code value for an RBT such as a guide message or music pre-registered according to each subscriber subscribed in an RBT service. The CRBT server analyzes various digital information and extracts a sound source code value for an RBT of another person, of which listening is requested, from RBT sound source code values by RBT service subscriber to be transmitted to the CRBT IP. The CRBT server copies the RBT sound source code value of another person, of which copy is selected by the mobile communication terminal, into an RBT sound source code value of the mobile communication terminal to be changed and registered. |
