An electric motor is provided to reduce vibration and noise generated at the time of driving a rotor by reducing radial direction impact force by peak flux caused by concentration of magnetic flux density. An electric motor includes a stator(101), a rotor(102), a first curve part(113), and a second curve part(122). The stator includes a stator core(110) with a plurality of teas(111) and a coil wound on the teas, which forms rotational magnetic flux. The rotor is disposed to be spaced from the teas of the stator core by a predetermined gap. The rotor includes a rotor core(120) which an insertion slot(121) where a magnet is inserted is formed at the periphery thereof. The first curve part projecting toward the rotor core is formed at an end of the teas. The second curve part is formed in the periphery of the rotor core to be rounded in correspondence with the insertion slot and projects toward the teas.
