摘要 A traffic management system and method for analyzing the traffic of a high speed circuit and a packet collection apparatus therefor are provided to implement the sampling of a feedback type using the packet lists of upper top N, thereby analyzing important traffic without a loss. A traffic management system includes a packet collection apparatus(100) and a flow analysis apparatus(200). The packet collection apparatus generates a flow with all packets matching an item of sampling information preset to packets flowing from a network card, wherein the sampling information includes the header information of an upper N packet list, namely, a source IP(Internet Protocol), a destination IP, a source port, a destination port, and a protocol ID, performs order/random sampling according to a preset sampling rate for packet not matching the one of the sampling information, and generates and stores a flow for the sampled packets. The flow analysis apparatus sets the sampling information, transmits the set sampling information to the packet collection apparatus, receives the flow completed in the packet collection apparatus, and generates and outputs a statistical result value through traffic analysis.
