A data transmitting/receiving apparatus in a communication system is provided to remove an expensive dual port RAM(Random Access Memory) and generate the same data transmission effect as storing data in a DRAM, thereby reducing a development cost when implementing a system and simply implementing the system. A network process unit block(200) receives Ethernet packet data in a network upper layer, and stores the Ethernet packet data. An FPGA(Field-Programmable Gate Array)(210) reads/writes the Ethernet packet data, and provides an interface of a cluster bus and a PCI(Peripheral Component Interconnect) bus. A modem block(220) performs a cluster bus function for accessing the Ether packet data.
