[Also in Division A5] The invention comprises thionothiolcarbamic acid esters of the formula in which R denotes a hydrogen atom or an alkyl radical of 1-4 carbon atoms, X denotes a hydrogen atom and/or one or more halogen atoms and/or one or more alkyl radicals of 1-4 carbon atoms, and R 1 and R 2 denote identical or different, straight- or branchedchain, alkyl radicals of 1-4 carbon atoms or, together with the nitrogen atom, form a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring, optionally containing a further nitrogen atom or an oxygen or sulphur atom. The compounds may be prepared by reaction of a benzoic ester of the formula in which Hal denotes a halogen atom, with a thionothiolcarbamic acid salt of the formula in which Me denotes a univalent metal atom or ion or an ammonium ion. Preferred reaction conditions are described, and examples are given. The products are useful as acaricides and fungicides (see Division A5).</p> |
