A display apparatus is provided to reduce the distortion of images by dividing gray scale voltages of respective colors based on gray scale reference voltages having the same bit numbers. A display apparatus includes plural pixels(PX), a gate driver(400), a signal arranging unit, and a data driver(500). The pixels display first, second, and third colors. The gate driver supplies gate signals to the pixels including the first, second, and third colors. The signal arranging unit receives image signals with first to third colors having different bits from one another, equalizes the number of the bits of the three-color image signals, and generates output image signals of respective colors. The data driver generates data voltages by receiving the output image signals of the respective colors and supplies the data voltages to the pixels including the first, second, and third colors.
