A transmission cleaning method is provided to maintain the quality of a product by preventing falling of a remaining cleaning solution and preventing a dropped cleaning solution from being mixed with oil. A completed transmission is introduced, and then it is determined whether the transmission is out of order. If the transmission is not out of order, a cleaning solution remaining on a cleaning nozzle installed in a cleaning machine is removed. In the step of removing the remaining cleaning solution, the remaining cleaning solution is removed to a remaining water removing pipe installed between a remaining water container and remaining water nozzles. The remaining cleaning solution is removed by using an air on/off valve installed on the remaining water removing pipe.
