SYSTEM AND METHOD OF SERVICING MOVING PICTURE CONTENTS IN COMMUNICATION NETWORK

A system and a method for providing a moving picture contents service in the network are provided to play a moving picture stably which is stored in a remote terminal in a mobile terminal by adjusting transfer time intervals of moving picture frames received from a moving picture server according to network delay when a moving picture file stored in the remote terminal is played by using the mobile terminal. A plurality of terminals(10) stores moving picture files on the network. A moving picture server(20) adjusts transfer time intervals of moving picture frames forming the moving picture file stored in the terminals. A mobile terminal(40) connects to one of the terminals, and displays the moving picture frames on a screen by receiving the moving picture frames stored in the connected terminal through the moving picture server. A service server(30) connects the mobile terminal to one of the terminals. The image server records transmission time to a data header of each moving picture frame and transmits the moving picture frame to the mobile terminal at regular time intervals to adjust the transmission time intervals of the moving picture frames.
