A contrast ratio improving film, a filter for a display apparatus, and a plasma display panel using the same are provided to cut off the incidence of the external light. A contrast ratio improving film(420) for a filter for a display apparatus is composed of transparent resin(424) for transmitting the light and a plurality of black stripes(426) penetrating through the transparent resin. The black stripe comprises a first penetration surface passing through one surface of the transparent resin, a second penetration surface passing through the transparent resin at the spot facing the first penetration surface, and first and second inclined surfaces inclined at the predetermined angle or vertical to the first penetration surface. The inclination angles of the first and second inclined surfaces are the same. |
