摘要 A valve structure for an engine using electromagnetism is provided to improve anti-abrasion characteristic of a valve by allowing the valve to rotate at the predetermined speed and direction without being influenced externally. A valve structure for an engine using electromagnetism comprises an intake and exhaust valve(51) installed on cylinder heads of each cylinder. A valve spring(52) provides restoring force in the direction inverse to that of driving force generated from a cam when the valve vertically reciprocates. A cotter is installed at the upper end of the valve to restrict the valve spring and a retainer(53) and to allow the valve to rotate regardless of friction when the valve vertically reciprocates. The retainer is integrally formed with the cotter. Electrodes(54,55) are installed on the upper end portion of the valve. Magnetic members(56,57) are installed at one side of the electrode, respectively.
