A sled-apparatus for testing overturn of an automobile is provided to reduce development time and cost by reproducing an overturn phenomenon as well as a side collision. A sled-apparatus(2) for testing overturn of an automobile includes a piston launcher(4), a carrier(8), and a stopper(10). The carrier is moved on a rail(6) by the piston launcher. The stopper stops movement of the carrier. The piston launcher has a compression medium and a propelling piston(14). The compression medium is filled in a cylinder(12). The propelling piston moves the cylinder back and forth. The carrier has a bottom plate(22) and a top plate(28). The top plate has a guide bearing(16) slid on the rail, wheels(18), and a load transfer plate. The top plate is coupled with front edges of the bottom plate by hinges(24) and has projectors(26) on hinge side edges.
