A novel arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus is provided to have symbiotic relationship with Capsicum annuum and promote the growth of the Capsicum annum, thereby being usefully used in order to culture the Capsicum annuum. A Gigaspora gigantea which is an arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus isolated from a root of Capsicum annuum is deposited as a deposition no. KCTC 11073BP. A microbial agent for culturing Capsicum annuum comprises the Gigaspora gigantea as an effective ingredient. The Gigaspora gigantea or the microbial agent is used in order to culture the Capsicum annuum.
