<p>Multimedia (MM) messages are exchanged between a first MM service control center (MMSC1....n) of a mobile radio frequency (RF) network and a computer-based message transfer agent (MTA1..3). Exchange of information elements, including MM messages, between the computer-based message transfer agent and a second MM service control center of a mobile RF network follows via an electronic message according to a message transfer protocol. MM messages in a computer-based message transfer agent based on address information which are respectively assigned to the multimedia messages, are blocked. A negative MM message answer is produced in the computer-based message transfer agent for communicating to the first MM service control center (MMSC1....n). Independent claims are included for : (1) a computer-based message transfer agent; and (2) a computer program product.</p> |
