SHOCK ABSORBER HAVING SELF PUMPING UNIT

A shock absorber having a self-pumping unit is provided to compensate for the lack of air in a reservoir chamber by obtaining compression air using energy generated by a reciprocating movement of a piston rod. A shock absorber having a self-pumping unit comprises an inner sleeve(140), which is divided into a rebound chamber(R) and a compression chamber(C), and an outer sleeve(160) which has a reservoir chamber(P) for supplying oil to the compression chamber during a rebound stroke and collecting oil during a compression stroke. A high-pressure tank(170) is installed at a lower side of the outer sleeve and has a high-pressure chamber(172), which communicates with the reservoir chamber through a two-direction valve. The self-pumping unit sucks outside air and then pumps out the air to the high pressure chamber by utilizing energy formed when a piston rod reciprocates.
