An image-forming apparatus is provided to reduce a space necessary for opening a fixing cover by improving the structure of the fixing cover so that a part of the fixing cover is opened or closed, thereby downsizing the image-forming apparatus. An image-forming apparatus comprises a main body(10), a fixing unit(60) installed within the main body to fix an image on print paper, and a discharging unit(70) for discharging the print paper with the fixed image. A fixing cover(90) is positioned on a paper transfer path(81) between the fixing unit and the discharging unit. The fixing cover guides the print paper to move to the discharging unit. The fixing cover includes a first fixing cover(91) and a second fixing cover(92). The fixing cover opens or closes a portion of the paper transfer path while the fixing cover is rotated. The second cover is fixed such that the second cover covers another portion of the paper transfer path.
