METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING PAGING MESSAGE IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method for transceiving a paging message in a wireless communication system is provided to enable a terminal to receive a paging message while receiving a specific service without the deterioration of service quality in a dedicated frequency band for the specific service and enable a BS to determine proper paging timing without deteriorating the quality of a service provided to a proper paging terminal. A method for transceiving paging message comprises the following steps of: allowing a BS(Base Station)(120) to transmit a paging message with the identifier of a called terminal(110) and information about whether a terminal in any position is called to the terminal(610); allowing the terminal to check whether location information registered by the terminal is identical with location information included in the paging message when the paging message is received(620); allowing the terminal to respond to a network if the compared location information is identical and not to respond to the network when the compared location information is not identical(630).
