<p>A hermetic compressor is provided to allow a piston installed in a cylinder to be easily assembled to a crankshaft via a connection rod when the cylinder is integrally formed with a frame. A hermetic compressor comprises a frame(40) formed with a hollow portion, a drive unit disposed on the frame, a cylinder(21) formed integrally with the frame, a piston(22) disposed within the cylinder, a crankshaft(50), and a connecting rod(60) coupled to an eccentric shaft portion(52) and the piston. The crankshaft includes a main shaft portion(51) adapted to rotate a drive force of the drive unit, the eccentric shaft portion provided at one end of the main shaft portion, and a weight balance portion(53) provided between the main shaft portion and the eccentric shaft portion. The connecting rode is formed to convert a rotation motion of the crankshaft into the linearly reciprocation motion of the piston.</p> |
