A refrigerator is provided to allow cool air of a storage compartment to be smoothly flowed into an evaporator by arranging an assistant cool air flow path equipped with a gravity damper. A refrigerator comprises a storage compartment(12), a cool air generating room, a cool air inflow port(40), an assistant cool air flow path(60) and a blower fan(30). The storage compartment is formed inside a main body(10). The cool air generating room is disposed in a rear wall of the storage compartment and includes an evaporator(20) for generating cool air. The cool air inflow port is formed in a lower side of the cool air generating room and allows the cool air inside the storage compartment to be flowed into the cool air generating room. The assistant cool air flow path has on end formed in both sides of the cool air inflow port and the other end formed in a side surface of the cool air generating room. The blower fan is arranged in an upper side of the cool air generating room and discharges the cool air heat-transferred through the evaporator to the storage compartment.
