The invention relates to a method for synthesising compounds of the formula (I)wherein Ris a hydrogen atom or an alkyl or benzyl group, and Ris amine function protecting group representing tert-butoxycarbonyl.The use of said compounds for synthesising perindopril and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof is also disclosed.
