Disclosed is the use of an amylin or amylin agonist in the manufacture of a medicament for use in the treatment of dysplipidemia or hyperglyceridemia in a subject, wherein the subject has elevated triglyceride levels during post-prandial periods and wherein the medicament reduces post-prandial triglyceride levels.
