A far infrared ray-emitting biodegradable sheet composition is provided to maintain good transparency unique to a polylactic acid, to improve brittleness, and to ensure far infrared ray-emitting property. A far infrared ray-emitting biodegradable sheet composition comprises 99.8-96.0 wt% of polylactic acid, 0.1-1.0 wt% of an aliphatic polyester, and 0.1-3.0 wt% of a far infrared ray-emitting material. The polylactic acid includes L-lactic acid, D-lactic acid or L,D-lactic acid and has a molecular weight of 10,000 or higher. The far infrared ray-emitting material is at least one material selected from the group consisting of ceramics, elvan, germanium, jade powder, bentonite, jade soil, loess, oak charcoal, algae with coal and tourmaline.
