PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-valued pulse generating circuit, wherein a through-current of switching elements is suppressed to reduce the power consumption. SOLUTION: The three-valued pulse generating circuit 100 includes: a logic circuit section 10 including three logic elements 14a, 14b, 14c; and a switching control section 20 including the three switching elements 22, 24, 26 controlled by outputs of the three logic elements 14a, 14b, 14c, and controls the three switching elements 22, 24, 26 so as not to be simultaneously turned on and switchingly outputs three different voltages V<SB>high</SB>, V<SB>mid</SB>, V<SB>low</SB>.
