PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inkjet recorder in which the absorbing capability is prevented from decreasing when ink is repeatedly refilled. SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder is equipped with a sub-tank 4 in which an absorber 14 for absorbing the ink is stored in a storage chamber 10, a recording head 1 to which the sub-tank 4 is attached and which delivers the ink absorbed by the absorber 14, and a refilling mechanism 6 which supplies the ink from a main tank 8 to a supplying port 18 formed at an upper part of the sub-tank 4 and communicating with the storage chamber 10. A space 16 which guides the ink supplied by the refilling mechanism 6 to a lower part 14a of the absorber 14 is formed in the sub-tank 4. The space 16 is formed between the absorber 14 and an inner wall of the sub-tank 4. The ink from the supplying port 18 is guided to a plurality of division openings 22 opened at an upper part of the storage chamber 10. The space 16 is prepared under the division opening 22.
