PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle report device for vehicle, by which a driver can further accurately know the presence of an obstacle to beware present around the vehicle. SOLUTION: This device comprises an obstacle detection means detecting an obstacle around the vehicle; a warning necessity determination means determining whether attention to the detected obstacle is required or not; display devices 34, 36, 38, and 40 displaying predetermined warning displays; and a virtual sound source generation device capable of generating a virtual sound source in an optional direction to the driver. When the obstacle (pedestrian 60) is detected around the vehicle, a predetermined warning sound is outputted while setting the position of the virtual sound source S to the position of the pedestrian 60, and a predetermined warning display ("Caution!", etc.) is displayed on the display device provided in the position corresponding to the direction of the obstacle. The presence of the obstacle is reported by the warning sound and the warning display in this manner, whereby the driver can further accurately know the presence of the obstacle to notice present around the vehicle.
