摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle movement type display device capable of significantly increasing the memory property of pixel display more, than when viscosity is utilized without unnecessarily increasing the viscosity of dispersed liquid nor forming a charging layer and an affinity layer which are fixed. SOLUTION: A barrier 30 having a barrier electrode 90 formed is arranged, surrounding a fixation surface 110 where a display electrode 80 is arranged. A movement space 45, surrounded by the barrier 30 is filled with the dispersed liquid 40 in which charged particles 50 are dispersed and charged particles 50 are moved between the fixation surface 110 and a fixation surface 120, according to the polarities of a voltage applied between the display electrode 80 and a barrier electrode 90. In the dispersed liquid 40, ultrafine particles 60 are dispersed which are weakly charged to the opposite polarity from the charge particles 50 and colorless and transparent in the dispersed liquid 40. The charged particles 50, which are stacked on the fixing surface 110, are held in a coherent state to significantly increase the change in resistance due to aging, shock resistance, and bending resistance of gray scale display.
