PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a panel for information display having stable quality, by efficiently removing a display medium on partition walls, in a short time. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the panel for information display, which displays information of image etc., by moving display medium 3 by charging the display medium 3 in a plurality of cells formed by the partition wall 4 between substrates 1 and 2 and applying electric fields to the display medium 3, includes a display medium removing step of removing the display medium 3 stuck on the upper part of the partition wall by using a roll 11 which has an axial length larger than the length in the width direction (direction of arrow B) orthogonal to a conveying direction (direction of arrow A) of the substrate 1 where the cells are formed and is arranged so that the upper part of the partition wall 4 makes contact, a brush 12 arranged nearby the roll 11 and scraped off the display medium 3 transferred to the roll 11, and a cleaner 13 arranged near the brush 12 for removing the display medium 3 scraped by the brush 12.
