PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection apparatus capable of being manufactured at a low cost while maintaining a smooth attach/detach operation, a disconnection stop function and the sufficient durability of engaging surfaces. SOLUTION: The connection apparatus 10 is provided with a pair of coupler 10a in the same forms. The coupler 10a includes a coupler body 11, a fitting part 6, a guide surface 31a and an engaging surface 41. The fitting part 6 has recessed parts 33 and protruding parts 30 alternatively aligned at the tip 11b of the coupler body 11 along a reference circle K and fits with each other. The guide surface 31a is formed at the protruding part 30 along a surface including an axial center line H and guides the mutual fitting of the fitting parts 6 by contacting with each other by a surface at the time of the attach/detach operation of the pair of coupler 10a. The engaging surface 41 is formed at the protruding part 30 and has contacting parts 41a which contact with each other in a direction the pair of couplers 10a move apart from each other in the axial center line H direction. The engaging surface 41 is formed in a plane inclining in the protruding direction of the protruding part 30 from a first side edge 42 to a back side along the reference circle K.
