PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine cooling system superior in temperature rise efficiency when starting an engine with a constitution without causing inconvenience in the engine cooling system by an increase in pressure of a refrigerant. SOLUTION: This engine cooling system X has a radiator control valve 12 having a mechanism for operating for opening when the refrigerant becomes preset pressure or more in a radiator circulating flow passage 10 for circulating the engine cooling refrigerator to a radiator 11, and has at least one other circulating flow passage for flowing the refrigerant separately from the radiator circulating flow passage 10, and has a control valve 31 having a pressure mechanism operating for opening when the pressure of the refrigerant becomes predetermined pressure or more lower than the preset pressure of the radiator control valve 12 in the other circulating flow passage.
