PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible film cutting device and a flexible film cutting method capable of smoothly cutting a flexible film aiming at importance of angles of a cutter blade tip when cutting into a surface of the flexible film and cutting it, in cutting of a cantilevered flexible film (including an intermediate film). SOLUTION: When cutting and trimming with cutters 40A and 40B and when trimming with a pair of cutters 56, a trimming device 10 cuts an intermediate film 16 and film pieces 17A, 17B and 17C by changing angle of a blade tip when the cutters 40A, 40B and 56 approach the intermediate film 16 and film pieces 17A, 17B and 17C and angle of the blade tips when the cutters 40A, 40B and 56 travels to the intermediate film 16 and the film pieces 17A, 17B and 17C for cutting. Angle of the blade tips of the cutters 40A, 40B and 56 when approaching are set at 80 - 100 degree, and angle of the blade tips of the cutters when cutting is set at 30 - 50 degree.
