<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating an organic solid, in which the organic solid is solubilized by using a microbe and a solubilization rate is improved while simplifying equipment for treating the organic solid and reducing the running cost thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The method for treating the organic solid comprises a step of solubilizing the organic solid by using the microbe in a solubilization tank, in the concrete, the steps of: shearing/pulverizing the organic solid housed in the solubilization tank; and solubilizing the pulverized organic solid by using the microbe.
