PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a recording device that secures stable and uniform contact pressure at an electrical contact part of a recording head while improving assembling accuracy at the electrical contact part when executing electrical connection between a recording device body and the recording head. SOLUTION: When executing the electrical connection between the recording device body and the recording head via a flexible flat cable, the electrical connection is executed by pressurizing the electrical contact part with buckling deformation of beam parts of electrical contact shoes after providing a large number of the electrical contact shoes made of a sheet metal in a connector provided to the end part on the recording head side of the flexible flat cable.
