PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device capable of easily and surely cleaning all the area of an optical member when cleaning the optical member in an imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: A roller unit (10) for cleaning the optical member arranged in front of a solid-state image pickup element for picking up an image in the imaging apparatus has: a roller (1) comprising a columnar member whose cross section partially has arc shape, and having absorptivity on its arc-shaped surface; and a roller supporting member (2) for supporting the cleaning member.
