PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience of a user by efficiently filtering electronic mail. SOLUTION: An electronic mail evaluation device 100 determines whether or not electronic mail has a suitable content based on words included in the electronic mail. In this case, the suitability of each word is registered in a database called suitability information, and the propriety of the electronic mail is determined as the overall evaluation of the suitability of each word. The determination result of the electronic mail is reflected on the suitability information. In the evaluating the electronic mail, when the sender of the electronic mail is a normal user, it is determined that the electronic mail is suitable electronic mail.
