PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position specification device, a position specification method and a position specification program, capable of specifying a position wherein photographing is easily performed without causing increase of cost. SOLUTION: A server device 80 previously stores shape information showing shape of a plurality of photographic objects present inside a position specification target range and belonging to a predetermined kind in a hard disk not shown in a Figure associatively with position information showing corresponding positions of the photographic objects. A digital camera 20 photographs the photographic object belonging to the predetermined kind to acquire image information showing the photographic object. The server device 80 reads the position information stored associatively to the shape information showing the shape similar to the shape of the photographic object shown by the acquired image information in a prescribed level or above from the hard disk, and specifies the position wherein the photographing is performed on the basis of the read position information.
