摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever knob holding mechanism used for knobs of shift levers different in shape. SOLUTION: This shift lever knob holding mechanism 1 is equipped with a tubular body part 11 for inserting a knob 3 of a shift lever 2 on its inner circumferential side, and a plurality of shift lever knob underpart pressure feet 13 mounted on the lower end of the body part 11 by means of a shaft 12 for opening the lower end side of the body part 11 by being turned in one direction to allow the knob 3 to be inserted into the body part 11 while closing the lower end side of the body part 11 by being turned in the other direction to support the lower end of the knob 3 by means of claw parts 13a on their ends. Further, this holding mechanism 1 is equipped with a cap body 14 for turningly operating the pressure feet 13 by turning it in one direction with respect to the body part 11, a shift lever knob upper-part pressure foot 15 mounted in the cap 14 for pressing an upper surface of the knob 3, and an operating screw 16 for moving the pressure foot 15 in a touching or parting direction with respect to the upper surface of the knob 3.
