PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sampler having a wide band or a sampler having a large dynamic range. SOLUTION: Inductances 31, 32 for compensating each parasitic capacitance of switch diodes 8A, 8B are provided. An inductance 33 inserted near a terminal resistance 7 compensates a parasitic capacitance of the terminal resistance 7. A high-pass filter 35 compensates a loss or the like in a transmission line. A step signal is input through a taper line 34A and a taper line 34B. The amplitude of a strobe signal applied to a switch diode 8A and a switch diode 8B is enlarged by receiving the step signal at a higher impedance than a signal source 11.
