PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus with an object rotating mechanism for allowing immediate response to an emergency and to allow easy and quick stop of an object rotating part of the apparatus without depending on a control means such as a CPU. SOLUTION: A route switching part 33 for switching circuit constitution for driving the rotating mechanism 15d of the object rotating part is provided, and the switching operation of the route switching part 33 is performed in linkage with the operation of an X-ray exposure switch 26. After the exposure switch 26 is turned on, by circuit constitution switching signals from a rotation drive circuit constitution switching part 21e to the route switching part 33, a rotating mechanism drive part 15b is switched to the circuit constitution independent of a CPU 21a or the like. When the X-ray exposure switch 26 is turned off before the end of prescribed radiographing, the rotating mechanism 15d is stopped urgently. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
