<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify work for selecting a γ correction table corresponding to an image to be formed when performing γ correction conversion upon image data. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus for forming the image of a document on recording paper using electronic photograph techniques, a digital copier 100 includes correction value storage sections 310, 311 for storing, respectively individually γ correction tables corresponding to the kinds of images to be formed on a photo conductor, a γ correction table corresponding to an image to be formed on the photo conductor, a γ correction table is selected from the γ correction tables stored in the correction value storage sections 310, 311, respective, and the selected γ correction table is used to perform γ correction conversion upon image data of the image to be formed on the photo conductor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
