<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video audio display apparatus wherein when a guardian applies rating to programs, the rating transits to a cleared state after the count of a timer. <P>SOLUTION: The video audio display apparatus is characterized in to include: a reception means for receiving a broadcast program and outputting a video audio signal; a speaker section for receiving an audio signal and generating sound in response thereto; a display section for receiving a video signal and displaying a video image in response thereto; a means for blocking the video and audio on the basis of rating information; the timer for counting time; a means for receiving the rating information under the parental control over the broadcast program received by the reception means; and a control section for controlling operations of the parental control by the timer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
